Pro stays locked until activated with proof of a one-time Aster Editor unlock purchase. Aster Editor is not yet publicly listed on the Mac App Store, so new users may not currently be able to activate this beta. The 30-day Editor trial alone does not unlock Pro.

The ZIP is hosted in a public, binary-only GitHub releases repository. Aster's application source remains private.
Activation requirements
- Obtain Aster Editor from the Mac App Store and complete its one-time unlock purchase. The trial does not qualify.
- In Editor, create a Pro activation file. Import it into Pro on the same Mac within 15 minutes.
- Pro verifies the signed purchase proof locally and stores the activation on that Mac. Editor does not need to remain installed.
Security and beta notes
The app is signed with a Developer ID certificate and notarized by Apple. Gatekeeper verification succeeded for this build. Pro runs local development tools you install; their availability depends on your Mac's toolchain and configuration.
This is an early beta. Activation has not yet been verified against a public App Store purchase. Report issues to support@astereditor.com.
